Multiculturalism, the identity of the Indonesian nation reflected in the national motto “Bhinneka Tunggal Ika”. Inspired by the theme of the Kiranamaya light festival, Warsa Gerhana tells the story of the sun and the moon that complement each other, like the role of differences in the unity of this nation.
Warsa Gerhana is a video mapping show commissioned for Indonesia Bertutur 2024 and was exhibited at Peninsula Island, Nusa Dua Bali on 14-18 August 2024.

the Singosari Kingdom, an ancient kingdom in Nusantara was a great inspiration for Warsa Gerhana. The Singosari Kingdom lasted for 70 years, a rather short time compared to other civilizations in Indonesian history. Its ruin was due to external and a very crucial internal conflict, which this video mapping explores.
